Guided by Azadeh Sawyer, Matt Huber and Jeffrey Davis

The facade is interpreted as cloth draping over the heavy building creating a lighter perception of the building mass. The script is also designed to experiment with proportions and porosity of the building facade. The facade is designed for artist multifamily housing project situated in Sursum Corda Neighborhood, Washington DC. The script has 4 key materials, 3d Printed Facade Panels, Wall surfaces within, glass and Mullion systems. The final facade was achieved based on the thermal envelop requirements to balance heat loss and finding optimum daylight into the interior spaces.
