Enclosure Design

Larger building imply higher proportion of energy losses or energy gains. The material and construction system of Multifamily housing was designed to reduce heat losses from the building envelope as well as explore mass timber construction systems. The detailing were developed in discussion with the faculties in the last month of the design project. Functionality and Mass timber expression were two key drivers for resolving the details of the entire project.
